    Physiotherapist

    Louise Martin (B.Sc, M.Physio)

Louise has had a keen interest in the human body from a young age. She has always been interested in learning how things work, how things can go wrong and how to fix them. This lead her to complete her undergraduate degree in science with majors in Anatomy, Histology and Cell Pathology in 2016. Following this Louise completed a Master of Physiotherapy and graduated in 2019. During her post-graduate studies she worked as a student in hospital and private practice environments, providing her with hands on experience.

Since graduating Louise has worked in private practice treating clients with injuries and pain. She has developed skills in treating musculoskeletal conditions including headaches, jaw pain, spinal pain, tennis elbow and ankle sprains to name a few. Louise is also experienced in geriatric rehabilitation, working with elderly clients to help maintain their movement and independence.

In conjunction with her formal studies, Louise has trained in dance since the age of 3, and has been working as a professional dancer since 2009. She has experience in many styles of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop and musical theatre. She has also cultivated a love for gaming, spending her spare time playing console or PC games.

Louise is passionate about equipping people with what they need so they can return to doing the things that bring them joy and fulfilment. Whether that be performing arts, gaming, sports, work, daily activities or recreational activities. She believes the best way to do this is in partnership with the person and their support network. Through collaboration Louise wants to help people achieve their goals and level up!
